Harvest Update
We're almost finished picking 2025 (only the Cab, the perennial last varietal in). An outstanding growing season (mild temps, lots of sun) coupled with elevated, sustainable farming practices has created exceptional fruit - we are excited for a very strong vintage!

Harvest Updates
A remarkably moderate summer has created excellent growing conditions, and the vineyard is looking its best ever! Fewer heat spikes has meant fewer days the plants have “shut down” down from excessive heat, and this may result in some varietals coming in a little earlier than normal.
We harvested Sauvignon Blanc on the evening of September 1st - Labor Day.
The reds are coming along - we are testing weekly - possibly harvesting Zin next week!

2026 is the Semiquincentennial of America’s founding – 250 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, formally separating from Great Britain.

Independence Day
Independence Day (July 4th) commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress in 1776. This act severed political ties and established the United States as a sovereign nation. It signifies the nation's commitment to the ideals of liberty, self-governance, and the pursuit of happiness.
June 11, 1776: Continential Congress appoints the Committee of Five to draft a declaration.
July 2, 1776: Congress approves resolution for independence.
July 4, 1776: Congress unamimously ratifies the Delcaration of Independence, signed by John Hancock.
July-August 1776: Declaration signed by other 55 signatories.

The History
April 19, 1775 - now celebrated as Patriots' Day - was the beginning of the Revolutionary War. That momentous day began with Paul Revere’s midnight ride, was ignited by British troops killing 8 and wounding 10 at Lexington (“Don’t fire unless fired upon...but if they mean to have war, let it begin here”), and exploded at Concord’s North Bridge where Americans finally returned fire with the “Shot heard ‘round the world”.
